Cacao Date Balls: quick, healthy, and delicious!

Date balls with cocoa! It doesn't get much easier than this!

Do you feel like making something delicious today without spending a lot of time on it? Then these date balls with nuts, cocoa, and coconut are perfect!

You can store this snack in both the refrigerator and freezer, and they are ideal for kids to take in their lunchbox.

Ingredients for 12 date balls:

  • 150 grams Medjool dates
  • 50 gr walnuts
  • 50 gr hazelnuts
  • 3 tbsp cocoa powder or Cocoa Mix
  • 3 tbsp shredded coconut

How to make these date balls with cocoa?

  1. Pit the dates and lightly roast the walnuts and hazelnuts in a dry frying pan;
  2. Then first grind the roasted nuts in a food processor, and then add the dates and cocoa powder;
  3. Now roll about 12 balls from the sticky mixture;
  4. Roll the balls through the shredded coconut and let them firm up in the refrigerator for half an hour;
  5. Enjoy!
